Required Skills
- Competent to manage the administration of care of patients with consideration to age; utilizes/promotes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational and environmental needs of the patient and/or significant other when administering and/or directing care.
- Written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal competence, negotiation and confrontation skills.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in clinical science
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital laboratory experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital laboratory management
- Current California C.L.S. License.
Preferred:
- Masters in business preferred.
- Work/management experience in a CAP Accredited Laboratory
- Participation in CAP inspection process
- ASCP Certification
