What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dosimetrist Certified, Full Time, Days position at PIH Health Whittier Hospital?
The Certified Medical Dosemitrist performs treatment planning procedures including dose calculations and computerized treatment plans.

Required Skills
- Technical skills in the operation of radiation oncology equipment.
- Proficient in generating dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good understanding of Title 17 and principles of radiation Safety.
- Proficient skills in treatment planning programs: Eclipse, CMS
- Skilled in performing quality analysis of radiation therapy equipment
- Precision and focus on details
- Ability and knowledge to work with patients ages adolescence through elderly.
Required Experience
Education:
- Graduate from accredited radiotherapy program
- R.T.(T) and CRT certificates
- Dosimetry Certification
- B.S. Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years experience as radiation therapy technologist.
- Knowledge of various types of radiation oncology equipment.
