Histologist, Per Diem, Variable

The Histologist under the supervision of the Pathologists and Laboratory director or supervisor, perform all procedures within the section assigned.

Required Skills

• Basic technical skills in histology.
• Working knowledge of stains and handling solutions.
• Operate centrifuge and tissue processor.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required
• Two (2) years college Chemistry / Biology desirable.
• Two (2) years previous experience as a histologist desirable.
• ASCP certification preferred
• Basic computer skills required
