What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker/Locksmith, FT Days position at PIH Health?
Under direct supervision of the Director of Facilities Planning and the Facilities Maintenance Manager, performs locksmith work throughout all designated offsite properties and the hospital. Performs journeyman level locksmith work including but not limited to : maintaining and repairing locks, duplication of keys, maintaining of master key system, and installation of all lock types and door equipment. Assist with departmental moves, special projects, and emergent Maintenance situations when needed.

Required Skills
- Minimum 3-years experience as a journeyman level locksmith.
- Sufficient expertise to repair, replacement and complete new installation of door / cabinet locks and hardware, able to duplicate keys and maintain accurate key logs for all facilities.
- Dependable, good judgment, reliable and able to work alone. Sufficient work expertise to organize jobs, prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of procedures and materials used in general maintenance of plumbing, electrical, patching and painting, carpentry, heating ventilation and air conditioning helpful.
