Project Manager II

As the Project Manager II, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects as well as being the key person in continuing to develop and grow our small works/Pike Facility Services (PFS) division in Utica.

The ideal candidate would:

• have led multiple building construction projects successfully from start to finish from $10,000 - $1M.
• be able to create a SOW from a jobsite walkthrough and develop a job cost estimate and schedule.
• be able to assemble and manage a team of superintendents and field personnel for self-perform work in the areas of demolition and carpentry trades.
• have experience soliciting subcontractors/vendors to perform work.
• accountable for leading and overseeing the day-to-day management of several projects.

In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, crafting precise estimates, building efficient schedules, and managing your project from conception to completion. This position is ideal for someone who has previously owned their own construction business or someone who is working for a smaller GC and is now looking to bring their entrepreneurial experience into a larger GC environment. Education/Experience:

• Candidates must have Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited institution in related field; and/or a minimum of 3 years’ as a successful Project Manager I; or a minimum of 10 years’ equivalent experience in the construction industry, required.
• Lead Project Manager (PM) on multiple successful projects from start to finish, required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications as well as construction software usage, contract documents and job documentation, required.
• Cost/Estimating experience, required.
• Proficiency in CAD and or REVIT, preferred.
• Critical path method (CPM) project scheduling, preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $73,800 - $110,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
