The Electrical Foreman is a skilled position responsible for leading and managing electrical transmission systems construction, maintenance, and repair teams. This role involves supervising crew members, ensuring safe work practices, and coordinating with utilities to resolve energy infrastructure challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead high-voltage electrical transmission line workers in construction, maintenance, and repair operations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate with utilities to design and implement new transmission and distribution systems
- Manage installation of smart meter technologies and integrate renewable energy sources onto the grid
- Perform site inspections and troubleshoot issues related to transmission and distribution systems
Requirements:
- Maintenance or repair experience in electrical transmission systems, preferably with 5-10 years of service
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and develop team members
- Familiarity with industry safety protocols and standards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights
- Valid CDL and excellent driving record
