Job Description
Position Summary: The University Relations Recruiter will take the lead on a full-cycle recruitment process around the Company’s University Relations strategy with 7-9 key universities across the Southeast.
Essential Functions
Partner with corporate HR and Recruiting teams to create and execute on a University Relations strategy specific to the engineering program.
Become the face and name of our brand at the appointed schools’ engineering programs.
Partner with university career center leaders to attend career fairs and take advantage of opportunities to speak in classrooms and at events.
Develop a diverse pipeline of potential employees for the organization.
Support multiple groups within HR and Engineering to continuously improve recruiting strategy.
Develop strong relationship with internal hiring managers to understand their team’s technical and cultural requirements.
Work with department leads to ensure that hiring strategy and potential candidates align with the Company’s growth plans.
Manage clear and timely communication with potential hires and hiring teams.
Provide a world class experience for both applicants, potential candidates and prospects throughout the process to ensure a stellar first impression.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, or a related field.
Experience in delivering training/presentations in person or virtually.
Knowledge of hiring processes.
Strong organizational skills; able to organize and prioritize workflow; able to manage multiple activities/projects, with competing deadlines, and follow up on projects to completion, with exceptional attention to detail.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, the Internet, and other relevant software; ability to adjust to new and changing computer systems and to operate standard office equipment.
Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information.
Superior verbal and written communication, including grammar, composition, editing and proofreading.
Strong interpersonal skills; professional demeanor with a commitment to diversity and equality.
Willingness to travel routinely.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
