Job Description for Teacher
JOB GOAL:
To create an educational environment in which students succeed academically, socially, and physically in accordance with system philosophy, goals and objectives
To implement developmentally appropriate best practices in the designated grade level and subject area(s) aligned with the mission and vision of Pike Road Schools
To serve as an advocate and role model for learners and a professional resource for parents, the community, and the school system
QUALIFICATIONS:
State of Alabama Professional Educator Certificate and Highly Qualified in area of literacy and numeracy instruction. Knowledgeable about direct instruction related to reading. Knowledgeable about teaching for problem solving to support numeracy instruction.
