Certification Details BLS State Licensure Job Details Job Summary : Assists with / performing variety of Radiology diagnostic examinations to include fluoroscopy, interventional procedures under image guidance, facilitating inpatient and outpatient consultation and post procedural follow-up. Essential Functions / Responsibilities : Performs venipuncture, measures and administers IV contrast, reviews lab results, positions patients, operates 3D lab software, maintains patient confidentiality, and performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Good working knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, pathology, medical terminology, application software, contrast indications and contraindications. Ability to skillfully operate CT scanner and related patient support equipment is required. Adherence to established procedure protocols, working knowledge of all IR examinations, and exam preps. Schedule Information Rotates call assignment as needed for 24-hour coverage; schedules patients in section and coordinates scheduling with other departments to ensure patient flow. Unit Specific Information Maintains and rotates supplies in assigned workstation and demonstrates cost efficient use of departmental resources. Additional Details Contract Length : 61 days
