Special procedures Tech Nuclear Medicine
Ability to operate Nuclear Medicine equipment required. Knowledge of Keyboard Patient Registration and Siemens Software required.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Nuclear Medicine program required.
NMTCB or ARRT certification required.
Kentucky State certification required.
- Upon graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program students are granted a temporary state license for a period of one year, during that time they must pass the National Registry and obtain an ARRT certification or NMTCB certification. After the ARRT certification is obtained the temporary status will be lifted from their state license.
Provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Operates Nuclear Medicine scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed.
