```Job Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. ```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information in Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments and materials
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program required or adequate experience as substitute
- X-ray certification required
-Coronal Polishing certification required or obtaining this certificate upon hire
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and record management
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff
