Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Pilates techniques and principles, along with the ability to inspire and motivate clients in their fitness journey. This role requires a commitment to promoting health and wellness through effective instruction and personalized program design.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Develop tailored fitness programs that align with clients' goals, abilities, and health considerations.
- Provide guidance on anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics to enhance client understanding of Pilates.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages client participation and progression.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in fitness and Pilates instruction.
- Assist with health club operations, including member engagement and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to promote cross-training opportunities within the facility.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pilates Instructor or in a related fitness role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and program design specific to Pilates.
- Experience in sports coaching or personal training is a plus.
- Familiarity with health club operations, fitness sales, or gym environments is beneficial.
- A background in CrossFit or other fitness modalities can enhance instructional versatility.
- Certification in Pilates instruction from an accredited organization is required.
