Team Leader Aircraft Interior Installation

Pilatus is hiring a Team Leader Aircraft Interior Installation to join our aircraft completions team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the completion of assigned project aircraft from ferry arrival to customer delivery. A successful person in this position will maintain continuity of workflow by establishing and communicating priorities to team members based on meeting process specifications, schedule, and quality standards. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Manages assigned aircraft during the completion process from ferry arrival through customer delivery
• Installs aircraft interior components, recognizes and troubleshoots problems, and ensures that all materials are available for assigned project aircraft
• Communicates priorities and schedules to team members, ensuring adherence to deadlines and schedules
• Ensures all work is performed according to applicable regulatory requirements, established quality standards and procedures, and customer specifications
• Coordinates with QA and Flight Ops to ensure aircraft readiness for flight
• Performs supervisory responsibilities for a team of assigned technicians, including time card and time off approvals and annual performance reviews
• Trains and motivates team members to be proficient in all work assignments
• Ensures that deadlines and schedules are strictly adhered to and immediately notifies manager or appropriate personnel if delays or problems are anticipated or exist

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspects aircraft and incoming parts
• Weighs and details aircraft and operates towing equipment (tug) to move aircraft
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas and surroundings
• Ensures personal and team compliance with company and safety rules during performance of duties
• Responds to additional administrative duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by manager
• Availability to work overtime as required

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 or more years of interior installation experience on PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster teamwork
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
• Meet requirements of FAR 65.101 to obtain FAA repairman certificate or FAA A&P license a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in general computer use including Microsoft Office
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined under ITAR 22 CFR 120.62

The salary range for this position is $27.63 - 36.44 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
