Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment to facilitate the movement of materials and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient project completion.
Duties
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials and equipment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and heavy equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios during lifting operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and heavy equipment, including inspections and minor repairs.
- Assist in the operation of additional heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, water trucks, and concrete mixers as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in crane operation or heavy equipment operation is required.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred; tanker endorsement is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to operate various types of cranes including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and others.
- Experience with additional heavy machinery such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, water trucks, or concrete mixers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to pass any required background checks or certifications related to crane operation.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
