Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Identify new business opportunities, conduct market analysis, and develop sales strategies for entering and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key prospect stakeholders, including government decision-makers, defense contractors, and aerospace industry leaders.
- Sales Management: Generate leads, move prospects through the sales funnel, and close deals with new and existing clients.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed about market trends, competitor positioning, and innovations within the aviation and aerospace sectors.
- Contract Management: Lead the execution and management of key contracts, ensuring adherence to customer requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, quality and other departments to drive innovation and meet client needs.
- Hybrid position with technology package.
- Travel expected as required to meet sales targets.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar industry required.
- Experience in aerospace preferred, though extensive experience in similar industries (automotive, industrial, agriculture) is acceptable, with strong adaptability to evolving sales strategies and market trends.
- Demonstrated success in engaging with a diverse customer base while fostering relationships with clients from various backgrounds.
- Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills.
