Duties
- Construct, alter, and repair garments according to design specifications and customer requests.
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment proficiently to ensure precise stitching and finishing.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort for clients.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, fabric calculations, and pattern adjustments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering style advice as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in garment construction techniques with a strong understanding of various fabrics.
