Are you looking for an outdoor adventure? Come join us at PDC! We work with campers ages 3-14 years old. Great for education majors and beyond. We are a traditional camp that focuses on fun. We are looking for someone who is fun, outgoing, and ready to help kids have the best summer of their lives. It's summer the way you remember it!
Responsibilities
- Educate campers through games and explorations
- Set up and maintain equipment (like camping sets)
- Make sure all safety rules are followed
- Ensure camping site is clean and that campers don’t litter recreational areas or nature
- Communicate camp day with parents
- Create the best environment for all kids
Skills
- Experience as camp counselor or similar role working with children
- Familiarity with camping and various outdoor activities
- Patient and reliable
- Organizational and communication skills
- A love for children
- Energetic and positive personality
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina to follow strenuous activities like hiking, running, crouching or carrying children)
- Age 16 and older
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Framingham, MA 01702: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
