Requirements for the position
- 4 year degree in applicable field or qualifying field experience in live production
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power point
- Basic accounting skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to travel at least 75% of the time while in the program
- Willingness to accept open positions regardless of location unless other arrangements are specified at the time of program entry.
- Ability to take on difficult task and learn from them
- Ability to work with the Live Production and Tech Services Team on a daily basis
- Ability to relocate if needed
- Complete 4 week rotation in a Jamesway hatchery
- Complete 4 week rotation in a Chickmaster hatchery
- Complete one week rotation in a complex with single stage incubation
- Complete Jamesway incubator training
- Complete Chickmaster incubator training
- Complete 2 week rotation with 4 industry leaders in hatchery tech services
- Complete 2 week rotation with a veterinarian concentrating on break outs and sanitation
- Complete 2 week rotation in breeders
- Complete 2 embryology seminars
- Complete Aviagen hatchery manager training
- Complete Cobb hatchery manager training
- Complete approved sanitation training
