Job Title: I&E Specialist
Description:
- Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the facility to ensure efficient production operations.
- Maintain electrical equipment through regular preventative maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to implement new control systems and improve electrical processes.
- Conduct research and development to enhance controls and electrical processes, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
- Identify recurring problems and provide effective solutions to rectify issues.
- Assess electrical equipment weaknesses and develop corrective solutions to prevent failures.
- Understand the technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators and maintenance technicians on its operation and troubleshooting.
- Support maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Industrial electrical experience with extensive schematic reading capability and PLC coding/troubleshooting expertise.
- Hold relevant electrical certifications, including technical college and/or manufacturing certifications such as Allen Bradley or Square D.
- Preferably possess 3-5 years of documented experience in a similar role.
Evaluation Process: A panel interview and series of standardized or hands-on tests issued by the company/third-party testing facility will be used to select candidates. This is a progressive position, requiring level 3 to be achieved within 18 months from start date.
