Live Production Loader Operator
Essential Functions And Methods
CDL required. Responsible for pre-tripping, post-tripping, loading, unloading, and transporting forklift on lowboy to predetermined farm. Forklift drivers will then take empty cages, from trailers, into chicken houses, set empty cages down, pick up full cages, bring them out of houses and place onto trailers. This should be done in approximately 45 minutes per load. Lift drivers are required to follow all SOP for Live Haul. Experience a plus.

- Sitting on the Lift for extended periods of time.
- Always be aware of the surroundings and use extreme caution when maneuvering Forklift.
- Be alert, other employees will be working in close vicinity to the Lift inside and outside of the chicken house.
- Forklift drivers must be able to think and react quickly.
- Normally 40 to 50 hrs per week.
- Lift drivers normally load between 7 and 13 loads per day.

- Odor
- The chicken house floor sometimes becomes rough and slick.
