SUMMARY
Absence of any related duties or functions in this document does not imply that incumbent may be exempt from assignments required to support production. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the production process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require.
- Check with the supervisor to ensure product is running on schedule.
- Have proper equipment set up and operating properly before start up.
- Complete all necessary reports. Enter all production numbers from floor into SAP.
- Verify QC checks throughout shift and HACCP checks.
- Ensure the line has an adequate supply of correct packing supplies
- Check metal detectors.
- Ensure the line is fully staffed.
- Replace absent employees.
- Train all new employees and monitor progress.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
