POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Must be willing to be trained and work in all departments.
- Must be willing and available to be trained and work performing pre-op inspection when required.
- Selects products for examination at specified stages in the production process, and test products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, weights, and colors.
- Records and enters data into computer system such as case weight piece count per case, and Individual weights at specified time intervals during the production process.
- Record data on unacceptable product.
- Temperature and Metal detector checks.
- Must be able to work pre-op as needed (approx. 04:00 start time)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and understand quality practice of the USDA, USFDA and Pilgrims Pride.
- Average math and computer skills.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
- Temperature ranges between 45 – 90 degrees F. (dependent upon the season of the year)
- Ability to use and operate a variety of measuring tools and equipment.
- Preference will be given to those with experience.
- Good work habits.
- Cooperative work attitude.
- Better than average attendance.
