About the Position :
As a Deli Associate at Pilgrims Market, you will play a vital role in our deli department. Your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of made-to-order items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will engage with customers, provide samples, and handle transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare made-to-order smoothies, hot and cold sandwiches, sliced meats, and cheeses.
- Prepare grab-and-go items, including sandwiches and sliced meat portions.
- Maintain a clean and presentable deli area by sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and washing service dishes.
- Heat and maintain soups and hot bar dishes to ensure product quality.
- Prepare and cook rotisserie chickens to meet demand.
- Stock and maintain cleanliness of the salad bar.
- Provide samples to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Ring up customer orders using a POS system accurately and efficiently.
