Pillar ABA is owned and operated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. At Pillar ABA, we specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services with individuals age 0-21 years old, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Delays, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Adjustment Disorder, Down Syndrome, and additional disorders.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based applied science based on learning principles used to improve socially significant behaviors. ABA therapy in practice focuses on assessing the environmental influences on behavior through assessment-based intervention and data-based decision making. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affecting learning.

Service Coordinator Position Description
The Service Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of client services, including overseeing incoming and transfer cases, assisting in initial authorizations and reauthorizations for services, maintaining client documentation, and being the liaison between all incoming consumers and internal departments. Experience with ABA service coordination and insurance authorizations is required for this position.
This is a part-time position. The employee will be expected to work 24 hours per week. The employee will abide by scheduling as based on the availability provided and agreed upon prior to the start of the position. The service coordinator will complete all responsibilities at the office (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Track insurance authorizations and ensure continued, uninterrupted authorizations for services with timely submission of insurance authorization requests
- Coordinate with clinical team for submission of insurance authorizations and communicate authorization approvals/requests with clinical team and client’s families
- Answer family/provider intake requests in a timely manner; direct onboarding process for new clients (intake paperwork, client folder creation and EHR set-up, coordination of scheduling onboarding orientation, sharing documentation with clinical team upon onboarding completion)
- Assure eligibility of incoming and transfer potential clients
- Coordinate with the Administrative Director and Clinical Director with case management
- Check intake paperwork and onboarding submissions for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organization of electronic and paper documentation of client records
- Conduct audits of client roster, client folders, client EHRs, on a monthly basis
- Attend monthly staffing calls for insurance agencies
- Review all incoming cases and be liaison between incoming consumers and other internal departments
- Assist in the management of written orders and other yearly documentation required for client records
- Coordinate with other providers for case transfers, when necessary
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
- Excellent administrative/clerical skills and medical record keeping
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in case management and service coordination
- Experience in the field of ABA (highly preferred)
