What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Pillar Bank?
Pillar Bank is a locally owned bank that supports the community you live in. We invite you to apply for our part-time Universal Teller position, where you would be responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing.
As a part-time Universal Teller, your duties may include:
- Taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers;
- Providing other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier's checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc.;
- Assisting with selling Pillar Bank products and services, and advising customers of account and banking service options available;
- Answering in-coming phone calls to respond to customer questions, problems and directing calls to other appropriate departments as needed;
To be successful in this position, you will have good communication skills, be detail oriented and demonstrated high degree of accuracy; be able to stand for extended periods of time, and be able to carry coin (or other materials) weighing up to 30 pounds to vault area.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service in an efficient, professional and accurate manner consistent with Pillar Bank's values and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
- 1 - 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience preferred;
- Experience with customer service required.
