What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Teller position at Pillar Bank?
Pillar Bank is a locally owned bank that supports the community you live in. We are looking for a part-time Universal Teller to join our team.
As a part-time Universal Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers;
- Providing other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier's checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc.;
- Providing assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling Pillar Bank products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available and also refers customers to other bank departments as appropriate for additional services;
- Assists answering in-coming phone calls to respond to customer questions, problems and directs calls to other appropriate departments as needed;
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
- 1 - 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience preferred;
- Experience with customer service required;
Work Environment
The work location includes the Amery office; however, work location and hours may vary by coverage need. You must be able to work flexible hours. The position will average a minimum of 25-27 hrs/week and must be able to work flexible hours.
Benefits
You will receive a competitive salary, $16.50 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 per hour for working Saturdays.
