Low Voltage Technician
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently in the field while ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various low voltage systems, including:
- Security and fire alarm systems
- Voice and data structured cabling
- Surveillance cameras
- Access control systems
- BDA/ERRS systems (Bi-Directional Amplifiers/Emergency Responder Radio Systems)
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify system malfunctions.
- Provide tailored solutions to clients for alarm system sales and installations.
- Perform on-site field service tasks, ensuring high-quality and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and completed work.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging low voltage technologies.
- Follow strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with NEC and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar electrical services role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and low voltage installation standards.
- Certification in low voltage electrical systems is a plus.
- Experience working with computer hardware is beneficial for system installations and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for client interaction and teamwork.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
