The Construction Superintendent - Electrical is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical field operations, installations, and equipment management to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. This role demands a proactive, hands-on leader who demonstrates professionalism, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
This individual must have a thorough understanding of electrical construction projects and must be proficient with the products and project tools required
The position must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include travel, weekends, and extended hours.
The Construction Superintendent will report to the Electrical Department Manager and will work primarily out of their location.
This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. In accordance with The Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy, employees are required to participate in random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested.

The Construction Superintendent will report to the Electrical Department Manager and will work primarily out of their location.
- Schedule electrical service work, projects, maintenance, installations, etc. by balancing project needs with product and labor availability
- Oversee all field construction activities
- Manage on-site subcontractors
- Monitor and adjust project schedules as assigned
- Communicate personnel, equipment, and supply needs to the Project Manager
- Maintain and organize project material purchases
- Assist the PM to provide work in progress reports
- Assist project team in strategic meetings, follow-up, meeting notes, and action plans
- Support new business development and customer service by being available and responsive to internal and external customers and for new business inquiries
- Respond to and manage customer service needs to include things that arise after-hours
- Assist PM to ensure projects are timely, on budget, meet code requirements, and meet customer needs
- Coordinate with inspectors and other trades as needed
- Provide paperwork and documentation for accurate record-keeping, billing, and inventory
- Maintain and track company tools, equipment, and vehicles for the project
- Serve as a mentor and team leader for field construction
- Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures
- Ensure proper communication with the Department Manager on all pertinent issues
- Evaluate company and subcontractor personnel to ensure a drug and alcohol-free work environment
- 5 years of electrical industry related experience preferred
- 2 years management experience preferred
- Experience leading multiple projects more than $1M
- Experience leading crew sizes of 10 or more
- Possess an Electrical License (NM Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Possess excellent networking skills
- Able to organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals
- Possess the ability for critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in team environments
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment
- Demonstrate managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to balance multiple areas and phases of a project
- Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude
- Proficient with Software such as estimating software, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Suit such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, etc.
- Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel
- Sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Maintain focus in an environment with distractions
- Ability to independently lift objects up to 50 pounds
