Job Overview The responsibilities of a Home Inspector require a broad range of abilities, including the technical expertise to assess residential properties and the interpersonal skills to communicate findings effectively in both verbal and written formats. This position will work collaboratively with the business owner and/or team members to uphold customer satisfaction, meet revenue goals, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Conduct thorough and detailed home inspections, including examination of crawl spaces, attics, and other structural components.

Accurately document findings using proper grammar and punctuation, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

Communicate effectively with real estate agents and customers to explain inspection results and recommendations.

Provide consultation and recommendations on value-added service packages and additional offerings from the Pillar To Post franchise.

Maintain comprehensive records of all home inspections, including photographs and written reports, and ensure proper filing and documentation.

Manage time efficiently to arrive at inspections at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time and complete inspections within the allotted timeframe.

Follow up with clients in a timely and professional manner to provide additional information or address inquiries.

Clearly communicate the pricing model and service options offered by the Pillar To Post franchise.

Complete all required paperwork and adhere to established company procedures for booking, conducting, and finalizing inspections.

Participate in marketing initiatives, including lunch-and-learn events, trade shows, and real estate office visits.

Collect payments from clients upon completion of the home inspection.

Coordinate the placement and retrieval of specialized testing equipment.

Maintain and safeguard all company-issued equipment.
