Duties and Responsibilities:
1. In collaboration with the manager, develops systems (calendars, communication methods, etc.) to manage efficiently the home and to develop effective caring and supportive relationships with clients.
2. Conducts weekly Audits MAR, ensuring compliance by employees, maintenance of medication inventory and up-to-date scripts. Follows up with staff missing EMAR signatures.
3. Spends majority of shifts in the assigned house, not picking up shifts at other locations at the detriment of the management of the home.
4. Audits completion of daily electronic notes by house staff, communicating results to Residential Manager.
5. Records and maintains inventory of non-prescription medical supplies, household items and food.
6. In collaboration with the Residential Manager, develops and maintains a schedule of activities based upon the interest of the residents.
7. Maintains fire and severe weather drills, ensuring they are completing monthly. Ensures drills are under the 3-minute mark or conducts follow-up drills as needed. Turns drill in to Director of Residential Operations monthly.
8. Collaborates and communicates regularly with Residential Manager, helping to ensure staff meet standards of professionalism, communication, and performance expectations. Communicates regularly with Residential Manager about successes and opportunities for improvement for staff. Assists in collecting compliance documents.
9. Orders and picks up any necessary administrative items (i.e. forms, notes, binders, etc.)
10. Ensures Pillar staff work collaboratively with client teams to ensure client needs are being met.
11. Serves as a DSP
- Assists clients in the development of daily living, social, recreational, and leisure skills.
- Prepares or assist residents to prepare healthy meals following a menu.
- Maintains cleanliness of the living space and assists residents in their efforts to maintain the cleanliness of their individual rooms and common areas.
- Assists with individual hygiene needs, including bathing, toileting, oral hygiene; etc. as needed. Follows individual service plans for each individual client.
- Maintains a daily log of participant progress and activities, documenting daily electronically in Therap.
- Administers medications and documents having done so in the MAR (Medication Administration Record).
- Offers basic first aid as needed.
- Regularly attends mandated trainings and staff meetings.
- Completes other documentation as required including incident reports and medication error reports.
12. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
13. Works collaboratively with other members of Pillar staff.
14. Coordinates Pillar Market schedule with Residential Manager and places weekly orders for house food and supplies no later than end of day Thurs.
15. Completes monthly summaries on each resident in home. Submits summary to Residential Manager no later than the 5th of each following month.
16. Assists the house manager in filling shifts on the house schedule.
17. Ensure that resident debit/pre-paid cards are being accounted for at each shift. Turns in resident receipts are submitted weekly to the business office (Tues. Night, Wed. Morning at the latest).
18. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Must possess a current and valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Must have general computer knowledge and a basic competency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
