POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data Manager leads data collection and management across the agency. Reporting to the VP of Advancement, this position collaborates with and supports Pillsbury United Communities staff and leaders to input, organize and contextualize program, administrative and financial data points. The Data Manager supports Pillsbury United staff and leaders to leverage meaningful data for continuous improvement, impact measurement, communications, reports, and evaluation overall. The Manager also supports the implementation of Salesforce, informing the data tools and infrastructure required for the future of Pillsbury United. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge and skills in data management, program evaluation, and data communications. The vision for this role is to drive a more measurable, transparent, predictive, accountable, and sustainable change in the communities we serve.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Strategy and Thought Leadership
- Support agency staff and leaders to develop and iterate key metrics from evaluation plans, logic models, and outcomes
- Identify data collection gaps and develop practices for data quality
- Support programs to leverage data for continuous improvement and iterative design
- Identify data trends to inform program and agency-level decisions
