MANUFACTURING AND ISC TECHNICAL MANAGER
Role Summary
The Manufacturing and ISC Technical manager will act as the single internal and external point of technical contact for Manufacturing and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Support functions. It is expected that the Manufacturing and ISC Technical manager will work in lab 25-50% of their time on M&ISC projects.

It is expected that the Manufacturing and ISC Technical manager will work in lab 25-50% of their time on M&ISC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of the Manufacturing and ISC Support Unified Product Process Projects
- Manage Manufacturing and ISC Support unmet needs submissions
- Manage the Manufacturing and ISC Support UPP project portfolio
- Responsible for Project Management of Manufacturing and ISC Support projects
- Lead the UPP Manufacturing and ISC Support project review meetings
- Define timelines, actions, accountability, and milestones for completion.
- Coordinate Lab and Progress Reports on their project portfolio
- Maintain constant interaction with the Technical and Innovation Market development manager, Business Support Technical Manager, Commercial Managers, Chemists, Production, ISC Group, Regulatory, and Quality surrounding manufacturing and ISC activities to ensure our manufacturing and ISC projects are on schedule.

- Advise on Nonconformance / Work off /disposition
- Complete new Raw Material Qualifications
- Technical support to assist process improvement initiatives and other related manufacturing activities aimed at operational excellence.
- Quality, Product Safety and Regulatory Support
- Oversee Analytical Test Method Develop as needed
- Be knowledgeable on regulatory landscape and its effects on their technical area
- Provide technical Support on CAS numbers, SDSs, tariffs, new chemical registrations
- Analytical Support
- Evaluate competitive products for performance and composition as they pertain to Manufacturing and ISC
- Human Resource Management
- Manage technicians and/or chemists as required
- Participate in or lead OIMs and Corporate, Departmental or Business Initiatives as required
- Support and facilitate the initiatives and goals of the Technical and Innovation group.
- Communicate results, both verbally and in writing, in an effective, timely manner to internal and external customers.
- Continually increase knowledge in relevant technical fields.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project management and ensuring all milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
- Experience in surfactant, biocide or performance additive manufacture, analysis, and applications.
- Experience in communicating technically with external & internal customers and suppliers.
- Experience managing complex projects from start to commercial launch.
- Proven verbal and written communications skills.
- Good subordinate and peer relationship skills.
- Successful record of problem solving through analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Proven quality system skills, including a strong demonstrated belief in continuous improvement.
- Proven concern with working in a safe and environmentally correct manner.
- Travel will be on an as needed basis. It is encouraged to attend customer visits and training, conferences, trade shows, classes.
- Active in relevant professional or trade organizations, notably those associated with Project Management.
