Pilot’s SMB Product & Design teams are focused on equipping small and medium-sized businesses with tools to gain close control and visibility into their finances. We deliver real-time insights into the health of businesses and empower business owners to make strategic and financial decisions with confidence.
We’re looking for a collaborative designer who can successfully balance creative thinking at 35,000ft and executing at 35ft to deliver intuitive and impactful product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive product decisions and roadmap priorities.
- Lead the end-to-end product design process to ensure seamless interactions at every touchpoint within your product and service areas.
- Develop end-to-end user workflows, low to high-fidelity wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design within an established design system and contribute to the evolution of new design standards across Pilot.
- Deliver thoughtful solutions and detailed specs that are ready for implementation.
- Collaborate with internal / external users to conduct interviews and gather data to inform design decisions as needed.
- Mentor other designers on strategy and craft, and maintain our team's high standard of design.

Why Pilot?
The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $125,000 - $211,000 in most remote locations, and between $156,000 - $211,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
