Position Summary
The Control Room Operator at Pilot Water Solutions will execute safe and efficient remote monitoring and operational control of saltwater disposal facilities and pipelines. This role is responsible for upholding a commitment to operation excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship. This position is located in Midland, TX and reports to the Control Room Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties
Monitors multiple facilities and pipelines from the control center utilizing SCADA information.
Participates in planning, scheduling, and implementing facility operations.
Performs remote operations to facilities and pipelines, monitoring product flows and pressures, monitoring product flows and pressures, starting and shutting down pumps, opening and closing valves and setting flow rates.
Works closely with various departments to execute schedules and operational plans safely and efficiently.
Monitors performance against targets and addresses areas of improvement.
Recognizes emergency conditions, works calmly and efficiently to resolve issues.
Communicates effectively with field operators to provide troubleshooting support and maintenance.
Prepares operational reports and other documentation in a timely manner.
Follows protocols and regulations accurately.
Perform onsite field support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent such as a GED
Must be 18 years of age.
At least 1 year in a control room setting.
At least 1 year of oil and gas experience.
Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and driving record within good standing.
Must possess a strong commitment to safety.
Work a minimum 12-hour rotating shift that includes weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SCADA systems.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
3 years in a pipeline controller position.
Physical Requirements
Standard office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to operate a company vehicle and qualify for company insurance.
Working Conditions
Standard office environment with occasional time in the field.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be deemed insurable by the Company’s insurance provider.
