Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 17 different locations.
The Drug Free Program provides outpatient level I and II substance abuse treatment to persons who may also experience domestic violence or possess an open DCFS case file, a court mandate, or are employer or self-referred.
We are seeking a highly motivated Drug-Free Counselor (Bilingual) to join our Drug Free Program located at 3113 West Cermak Road Chicago, Illinois 60623.

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday- Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
The individual’s primary responsibility is to assess the participant’s needs, participates in the development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans, facilitates the provision of appropriate therapeutic and rehabilitative services, and monitors the progress of participants. In addition, the individual will provide individual and group counseling sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification. If not, then an Associates Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field is acceptable or three to five years experience in the Substance Abuse Field. New certifiable staff must obtain IAODAPCA certification within two years of employment with PWC. Bilingual (Spanish) REQUIRED.
COMPENSATION
$42,000 - $45,000 per year
