JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible and Accountable for Supervising the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution functions are performed in an efficient and effective manner. Leads and controls activities of company warehouse personnel. Front line supervision is an extremely important function for the company and positive interaction with the employees is critical. Leads the warehouse team on daily tasks assigned by management and takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports. Conducts Warehouse operations in accordance with established procedures and policies and keeps management informed of Warehouse activities. Completes miscellaneous support functions and supports area personnel as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Warehouse Supervisor's key responsibility is to support the Warehouse Manager in the supervision of all warehouse associates and direction of warehouse operations.
- Oversee shipping & receiving, inventory, pick / pack of materials and FG shipments
- Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQFP
- Follow PIM Brands GMP rules
- Inventory evaluations, cycle counting and monitoring inventory
- Monitor fellow employees for adherence to GMP's.
- Completes all shipping and receiving paperwork and transactions in WMS.
- Supervises all warehouse functions and maintaining inventory while ensuring the FEFO aspect

- Provides direction and proper motivation to leads and line employees to ensure the daily workload

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job will generally be performed in the manufacturing plant. When on the plant floor it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor.
