Position Summary:The students attend academic classes specifically designed for them during the academic year and during our summer component as well. We are seeking to staff the following classes:
- Science
- Math (All levels)
- Foreign Languages
- Social Sciences
- English/Writing
- We are especially interested in individuals that have extensive knowledge of standardized tests
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for teaching a diverse population of high school students in various non-credit enrichment classes
- Prepare instructional materials, lesson plans, and classroom presentations
- Develop, review, and revise curriculum; assess, evaluate and document students’ skills and progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and
- Two years of teaching experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
