Position Summary :
The Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute (PSESI) Training Center at 4355 E. Calle Aurora. Features state-of-the-art equipment for training in Advanced and Basic Life Support Coursework in Emergency Medicine.
Workforce Trainers are needed to assist classroom instructors in Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute, which includes Paramedic and EMT Programs.
Public safety agencies and organizations throughout Southern Arizona look to Pima Community College's Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute to provide training and educational opportunities to their employees.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide teaching assistance under the direction of lead instructors in the Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute programs and classesConduct training in a flexible schedule and non-traditional formatMay teach theory and / or hands-on skillsEnsure all safety protocols are followed during hands-on skill trainingControl and monitor complex equipment and supplies during hands-on skill trainingAssess and evaluate student skills and knowledgeDocument performance and progress of studentsRecommend and implement actions to assist students to accomplish goalsMaintain complete and accurate attendance and training recordsParticipate in marketing the program and recruiting studentsRemain current with emerging trends in assigned areaJob Requirements :
Current licenses, certifications and / or endorsements required to practice in the discipline field andThree years of experience related to the discipline field and / or programCandidates who possess similar minimum objective qualifications should describe in detail the work experience and education that you regard as establishing the equivalency.The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities :
