Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children in the classroom.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education or related field.
- Experience working with children in daycare or educational settings.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's needs.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain is required.
- Ability to engage children through creative activities and educational play.
- Experience in infant care a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding of child development principles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 80 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
