This is a classified position that reports to an Office Supervisor. This position performs duties under general supervision and has no supervisory
responsibilities.
Essential Functions
A High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. certificate and two years of clerical and/or data entry experience; Or, the equivalent amount of experience, training and education approved by Human Resources. Work experience in a legal setting and/or the court environment is preferable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Typically performs duties in an office environment and may lift materials and/or equipment 20 lbs or less. The incumbent will copy and distribute court documents requiring repetitive hand/arm movements, bending, stooping, and walking.

Essential Functions
- Performs receptionist and support duties at the 1st and 2nd Floor court information desks.
- Greets and directs clients, employees, and visitors to Juvenile Court for hearings and appointments, as well as to specific departments.
- Uses Agave, JOLTSAZ and Justice Tools systems to find available information on Juvenile Court cases to provide to authorized parties.
- Operates a switchboard, receiving and directing calls on a multi-line phone console.
- Processes and distributes incoming and internal mail for Juvenile Court.
- Uses an automated mail machine to prepare outgoing mail.
- Maintains and operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, printers, desktop computers, calculators, and paper shredders.
- Updates and maintains logs, daily calendars, and network file folders.
- Receives paperwork from clients and notifies court personnel of arriving appointments and visits.
- Serves as part of a receptionist team, regularly rotating between four different desks and performing additional duties as directed.
