Financial Aid Officer | Onsite | Multiple Opportunities

Assist students in preparing and packaging their grant and / or loan applications to award funds in accordance with federal guidelines.

Job Overview

Student Finance Officers are critical in making higher education more accessible and affordable, helping students navigate financial aid and achieve their educational goals.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct student interviews to assess financial aid needs and eligibility
  • Maintain accurate student financial aid documentation
  • Assist students with completing financial aid forms
  • Counsel veteran students and ensure compliance with Department of Veterans Affairs guidelines
  • Manage student payment plans and contact students with outstanding balances
  • Track and process financial aid documentation, including ISIRs and federal fund releases
  • Audit student files for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with Admissions regarding financial aid appointments

    • Qualifications Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years experience of financial assistance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Ability to access Department of Education systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of Title IV funding

  • Hiring Range : $20.80 - $24.96 / hour
