Patrol and inspect Pima Medical Institute property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor the parking lots and student activity in the parking lots.
- Monitor exit doors in the building(s).
- Assist campus administration in maintaining a safe campus environment.
- Patrol halls and campus grounds, noting unsafe behavior or activity and intervening where appropriate. At a minimum, notify the CD or AD of such behavior or activity.
- Enforce laws on the property to deter criminal activity and other problems.
- Notify police when activity warrants intervention.
- Demonstrate good judgment and common sense and follow directions and directives from supervisors.
- Controls incidents and directs others in emergencies or other dangerous situations.
