Job Description
This internship provides an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals who shape the organization through a high-performance inclusive culture. Interns will contribute to the development and management of quantitative trading strategies, focusing on the entire life cycle of the quantitative investment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage quantitative trading strategies
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Collaborate with team members to identify and pursue investment opportunities
- Contribute to the development of investment solutions and portfolios
- Work with unstructured real-world data to inform investment decisions
Requirements
- Pursuing a Quantitative Master's degree (financial engineering or other technically demanding program such as Data Science, Stats, or Operations Research)
- Ability to begin full-time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2026 - August 2026
- Enrolled at a university during the Fall 2025 semester (August 2025 - December 2025)
- Undergraduate training in quantitative fields such as physics, math, stats, engineering, and computer science preferred
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent, at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
