What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Warehouse Associate position at PIMS Inc?
PURPOSE
The General Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by being cross-trained to support multiple departments including Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and Pick & Pack.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cross-train in Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and Pick & Pack departments to provide support as needed
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting daily productivity goals
• Maintain a clean driving record to travel between warehouses for order fulfillment and carrier hub deliveries
• Utilize strong time management skills to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes
• Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Ensure the exterior of the warehouse, including entryways, parking lots, and loading docks, remains clean and presentable at all times
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and RF scanners
• Familiarity with inventory control and order fulfillment processes
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Work in variable temperature conditions (heat, cold, humidity)

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE
