About the Position:
Pinal County is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Professional to join our team. As an Equipment Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for performing technical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and specialty vehicles.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on County heavy equipment and specialty vehicles.
- Perform technical repairs and system overhauls on heavy equipment and specialty vehicle engines, transmissions, power trains, hydraulics, braking, and steering systems.
- May assist FSD Automobile Mechanics with repair projects as requested.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to a minimum of two years of experience in the automotive/equipment repair industry servicing light and/or heavy equipment.
- Or one year of experience (Light/Heavy) with Pinal County as a Mechanic-Trainee or an Equipment Service Technician.
- Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements
