Responsibilities
- Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and more
- Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results
- Document pool issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customers
- Install new underwater lights
- Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
- Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels
- Diagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replaced
- Instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their pool
- Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterity
- Valid driver’s license required
- Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
- Must have a clean driving record and drive safely and courteously, obeying signs and driving rules
- Must be able to work with paperwork and software management systems for pool service
- Must have a great attitude and be willing to learn continually
- Pool Service technicians must be able to communicate politely with clients and team members and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner
