What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Pinch A Penny- Destin?
This position reports directly to the assistant manager or manager, depending upon the size of the retail store. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, filling pool additive jugs, and helping with customer needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
- To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Perform water balance testing, as needed, for customers. (Training Provided)
- Answer phones.
- Help customers with purchases, carrying purchases to the car.
- Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean.
- Preform opening a closing duties.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
- The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting.
- Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
