What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate I position at PINCH A PENNY POOL PATIO SPA #33?
We are a busy family owned pool supply store looking for retail sales associates to help our customers. We know how to have fun. It's always a pool party at Pinch A Penny!
Prior retail experience is preferred. We are looking for 1 full time employee and 1 part time employee. Full day availability is required as we do not have half day shifts. Our hours at 8:45am-6:15pm.
This retail associate position entails:
- Fill chlorine jugs.
- Perform water balance tests and advise customers about how to keep their pool balanced, clear and BLUE!
- Learn all of our pool products and make tailored recommendations for each customers needs.
- Help customers to their vehicles with their purchases.
- Ensure store is clean; Dust shelves, displays and counter areas. Mop, vacuum and clean windows. Take out trash and recycled materials.
- Stock various items.
- Answer in-coming phone calls and provide customer assistance with customer questions.
- Accurately operate a cash register when needed.
- Other tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able and willing to lifting up to 50lbs. Must be able to work with chlorine without having an allergic reaction. Applicants can not be color blind.
Pay and Benefits:
Wage depends on your experience. Relevant pool industry experience and commission sales experience that is verifiable starts higher. Position also earns commissions from certain customer purchases. As a retail associate you will have the opportunity to also become part of our outside services team who maintain, repair and remodel pools. The possibilities are endless!
