What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Cleaning Technician position at Pinch A Penny Pool Patio & Spa?
PINCH A PENNY is looking to hire a pool cleaner. Experience in all aspects of our service (cleaning, minor equipment repair, filter cleaning, and balancing of customer water chemistry) is preferable, but training is possible. Pinch A Penny offers competitive pay based on experience and drive, while also providing a family-style work environment.
We require that you have the following:
· Be honest and reliable.
· Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
· Be motivated and dependable.
· Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in the Florida heat.
· Have impeccable customer service skills.
· Knowledge of pool equipment operations and small parts installation. Not required but a plus.
· Be familiar with technology. (We do not use route books, we have electronic routes on phones)
· We provide your uniform and all work supplies.
Job Summary
· Maintain 60-80 residential pools weekly
· Perform routine maintenance
· Identify equipment issues
· Perform the duties outlined in each service plan
Qualifications and Skills
· Valid Florida Driver's License
· Be at least 18 years of age (for insurance reasons)
· Clean driving record
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Good Communication Skills
· Pool cleaning experience isn’t required but it is always a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
