Job Description
Pinch a Penny in Temple Terrace is celebrating 50 years of serving the community and is the area's premier pool retail, pool cleaning, and pool repair company. We are continuing to grow and are currently looking to fill a Pool Technician position.
Once fully trained, our pool technicians have a designated pool route where they help our customers keep their pool clean all year round. In conjunction with our software system, the pool tech will complete a set of tasks at each pool, including brushing, skimming, vacuuming, cleaning the filter, testing the water, and dosing the pool water with the correct chemicals. At times, the pool tech will need to communicate with our customers and be able to present themselves in a manner that represents our company well.
We are the premier pool company in this area because our first priority is QUALITY.
The ideal candidate for this position must be dependable, honest, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work outside during the hot summers and rainy days. Once trained, the pool tech will be driving a company truck, so having a clean driving record and clean background check is preferred.
We provide excellent training. There is opportunity to grow within the company. We have tenured pool techs making over 50k!
If you like working outside and have a desire to learn new skills that can help you in the future, Pinch a Penny in Temple Terrace is a great place for you. Newly hired pool techs will make $18 per hour. Once trained and on their own, there is a monthly bonus based on the number of pools you clean. This bonus can add as much as 6k per year to your income.
